Ashleigh Kabot grew up in Atascocita, TX, and began her dance training at age three. She trained and competed in a variety of styles as a company member at Lake Houston Performing Arts Center throughout her childhood. In high school, she was a four-year member of the Atascocita Patriettes Dance Team, serving as both Junior Lieutenant and Captain. After graduating in 2015, she joined Crowd Pleasers Dance Staff, where she has led team and officer camps, assisted with competitions, and taken on key administrative roles supporting dancers across Texas.

Mrs. Kabot earned her BFA in Dance with a focus in Dance Education from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019. While at UT, she performed with the award-winning Dance Repertory Theatre and spent four years on Texas Dance, serving as Co-Captain and Captain. During college, she was involved as an All-State Collegiate Assistant at the TDEA Convention, a Camp Texas Counselor, and a member of both the National Honor Society for Dance Arts and the Delta Gamma sorority.

She began her teaching career at her alma mater, Atascocita High School, in 2019 and became Director of the Stratford Spartanaires in 2022. Mrs. Kabot earned her Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University in 2023. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment where students grow in confidence and gain life skills beyond the studio.

She married her husband, Dillon, in the spring of 2025, and they enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Kabot is a proud member of the Stratford faculty and loves sharing her passion for dance with the community. Go Spartans!
